Welcome to QuickStep Coaching

On a professional level, coach training makes you a better leader, giving you the ability to enhance any job-role in any organization.

Our Philosophy

QuickStep Coaching strives to teach a style of coaching that honors the client as the expert in his/her life and work and believes that every client is creative, resourceful, and a unique creation made in God’s image.  As leaders within an ICF-accredited coach training program, we contribute to the professionalism of coaching worldwide by helping to pave the way for the next generation of coaching, ensuring that new coaches reflect excellence in coaching practice and supporting coaches as they continue their own journey of growth and development.

 Standing on this foundation, it is a coach’s responsibility to:

  • Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve;
  • Encourage client self-discovery;
  • Support client-generated solutions and strategies;
  • Hold the client responsible for the action plan;
  • Treat every client with the utmost respect in a professional manner that is above reproach;
  • Practice the ICF Professional Core Competencies and pledge accountability to the ICF Code of Ethics.

Our History

QuickStep Coaching was founded in 2009 by Ed Hale.  Our program was first developed to offer a year-long life coaching experience for new church pastors and their wives. A network of over 75 coaches were trained across Texas to serve an average of 100 pastors and wives each month. QuickStep Coaching has trained hundreds of coaches and many go on to pursue an ICF credential to solidify their new found skill and ability.

Dallas Baptist University approached us in 2011 about designing and teaching a Coaching Concentration using the QuickStep Coaching material.  We then provided an adjunct professor for their Graduate school within three of their master-level degree programs . Ed Hale has taught and trained some outstanding students every year since its inception. The International Coach Federation (ICF) has approved the first two courses of this concentration as Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) through QuickStep Coach Training and guarantees that these two courses will apply toward an ICF coaching credential via the ICF ACSTH Path. This partnership allows students to register for our coaching program through DBU and receive 6 semester hour credits in addition to 75 hours of coach-specific training.
